We would like to make all of our customers aware that Royal Mail have made unannounced changes to their timed delivery service in our area. This means we are currently experiencing delays in mail being delivered to us. While we have been in contact with Royal Mail it is unlikely that we will be able to resolve this issue in the short term which may mean a slight increase in some of our test turnaround times.
While we work to resolve these issues we would suggest using a courier or the Royal Mail pre-10am service for any urgent or time sensitive samples. This applies especially to respiratory PCR, mastitis and feline/canine TB samples. TB samples should be taken on the Tuesday and sent on a guaranteed overnight service to ensure they arrive with us in time for the Thursday test.
